Spectroquant® Methods Package
    for the VISIONlite® UV/Vis Applications Software

VISIONlite is the basic software for Thermo Scientific UV/Vis and Vis-spectrophotometers of the Helios, GENESYS and Evolution series as well as the models UV 1/3xx/5xx, BioMate and AquaMate (all ®). The 32-Bit Windows software comprises modules for scanning, time dependent and fixed wavelength measurements and quantitative analysis.

The Spectroquant methods package for the VISIONlite software is based on the original data for the Spectroquant reagent kits from Merck, Darmstadt. The methods kit includes nearly 400 ready-to-use methods for the VISIONlite Quant module. Each method holds the measurements wavelength, calibration data, concentration unit, instrument parameters and others.

The Spectroquant kits by Merck are proven reagent kits, which substantially facilitate photometric analysis. The range of kits covers nearly 50 analytes with nearly 400 methods, which originate from different concentration units, cell path lengths, procedure variations and application areas. The kits include tests for all relevant cations and anions, for molecules like oxygen and chlorine and for sum parameters like COD, BOD and water hardness. A number of methods are USEPA accepted. Spectroquant reagent kits are part of a comprehensive system including additional instrumentation, spare parts, disposal, quality control, training and applications support.
